Broken Bluebird

My Cousin has lost the Love of his life.  It is a pain unmeasurable, as i can imagine.  This image is that pain.  This is a self portrait depicting the pain i would feel, the pain so deep you would really wish to die too but if you have babies (eggs) you love so much then you cannot go, you cannot die too.  They need you and you need them.  She, my Broken Bluebird has lost her feathers due to the pain, she is naked, cold and alone.  She is now only wandering emotionless through much of life, and comes upon a cold blue bucket that for a moment can offer her some peace from this open and unyielding painful world of feeling.  She ever so gently sets her babies down and lifelessly crawls into the bucket for a moment of peaceful silence.
